Background

Doug Chandler joined the School of Business staff in November 1999, and has served in a variety of roles - as an academic advisor, as the Director of Student Affairs, and currently as the Associate Dean of Academic & Student Affairs. Prior to joining the School of Business staff, Doug worked in the Home Health field for six years and served in Tanzania, Africa from 1990-1992. While studying at Regent, Doug also served with Accelerating International Missions Strategies (AIMS), an international missions mobilization organization.

Personal Information

Doug has a passion to train and equip emerging leaders to fulfill their God-given destinies, and to mobilize the church across various disciplines, including business, to strategically impact the nations for Christ. In recent years, he has taught in leadership training conferences in Ivory Coast, Cameroon and the Philippines. His love for other cultures has also taken him to the countries of Kenya, France, Germany, Malta, England, and Italy.

In his spare time, Doug serves as a coach with Transformational Leadership Coaching (TLC). He also enjoys hiking, backpacking, nature photography, reading a good book at Starbucks, playing guitar, singing, and leading small group worship. He was born and raised in Granby, Connecticut and is an avid fan of UCONN basketball and the Boston Red Sox. Doug is happily married to Diane, who serves in Regent’s School of Divinity as an instructor and as the Director of Career & Alumni Services.
